E-governance Policy
Objective:
The e-Governance Policy aims to enhance transparency, efficiency, and effectiveness in administrative, financial, academic, and student support processes through the integration of digital tools and technologies. This policy ensures that the college adopts modern governance practices to facilitate streamlined operations, improve communication, and provide better services to students, faculty, and staff.
- Administrative and Financial Management
- e-Governance Module: Establish an e-governance module to manage administrative, financial, student, and faculty support functions. This system will centralize data management and streamline workflows, ensuring efficient handling of all college operations.
- ERP Module Acquisition: Implement an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system to facilitate faculty self-appraisal processes, track academic and administrative activities, and manage institutional resources effectively.
- Webmail Facility: Provide G-Suite webmail facilities to all faculty members for professional communication and collaboration.
- Academic and Curricular Integration
- Curriculum Management: Utilize e-governance tools for the digital management of curriculum design, implementation, and updates. This includes integration of NEP 2020 guidelines, Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS), and the management of new programs and departments.
- Syllabus and Course Updates: Maintain an online repository for syllabus updates and curriculum changes. Ensure regular updates based on feedback and evolving educational standards.
- Feedback Mechanisms: Implement an automated online feedback system to gather and analyze feedback from students, faculty, parents, and alumni. Regularly review feedback to enhance academic and administrative processes.
- Teaching, Learning, and Evaluation
- Learning Management Systems (LMS): Facilitate online learning, evaluation, and course management through the implementation of an LMS. Ensure that the LMS supports interactive and technology-driven learning experiences.
- Digital Integration in Classrooms: Equip classrooms with ICT facilities and smart technologies to enhance teaching and learning. Develop and maintain an inventory of digital resources available for academic use.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Utilize digital tools for conducting internal assessments and evaluations. Implement automated systems for recording and analyzing student performance data.

- Research Management System: Establish a digital platform for managing research activities, including grant applications, research outputs, and ethical approvals.
- Publication and Incentives: Implement an online system for tracking research publications, patents, and academic achievements. Provide digital access to research incentives and awards.

- Online Learning Support: Conduct online training sessions for students and faculty on digital tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Classroom to enhance the online learning experience.

The implementation of this e-Governance Policy will be overseen by the IQAC, which will be responsible for monitoring progress, addressing challenges, and ensuring that all digital tools and systems are effectively integrated into the college’s operations. Regular reviews and updates to the policy will be conducted to adapt to evolving technological advancements and institutional needs.
