Swachh Bharat Summer Internship 100 Hours of Swachhata
Swachh Bharat Summer Internship is an extension to the Swachh Bharat Mission of the Central Government which was launched as a national movement on October 2nd, 2014. Under this internship, the registered candidates are required to devote their 100-hours to Swachhata through the year and visit one or more villages, conduct cleanliness activities of their choice and make a relevant contribution to the cause of rural sanitation in India. Swachh Bharat Summer Internship programme aims to engage the educated youth across the nation in this cleanliness drive, enhance their skills and introduce them to the sanitation-related work and unify the youngsters in community development work in the rural areas. It will also help in magnifying the mass awareness on the issue of cleanliness and will promote the people’s movement towards Swachh Bharat Mission.This programme will not only provide a great learning experience to the students but also help in making India healthy and a clean country.
