NSSThe college has three National Service Scheme (N.S.S) units with 300 volunteers and three trained programme officers.Different awareness programmes on Thalasemia, national integration, skin care, Rights of women, AIDS, dengue, law awareness and save the girl child etc. are conducted throughout the year. Numbers of activities are also carried on the last session like plantation of 68 saplings in the college campus, Thalasemia testing of 100 college students, blood donation camp, campus cleaning, organisation of quiz on 'Life and concepts of Swami Vivekananda and National and International Contemporary Affairs', conduction of sit and draw competition and arrangement of sports events among the students of Gope Primary School (the adopted village of N.S.S), 7days special winter camp, cultural programme etc. The units also celebrated the different important days like Independence Day, Republic Day, N.S.S. day, Rabindra Jayanti, Netaji's Birthday etc.          |
