World Sanskrit Day is observed by the department and cultural Competitions amongst the students are arranged in this occasion.
Departmental Publication
- A wall magazine named “Jagriti” is published by the students.
- The department also has published three books for the last three years.
- Every year the department celebrate World Sanskrit Day in the day of Shravani-purnima by arranging special lectures, cultural competitions amongst the students.
- Each year the students of the department publish a wall magazine named “Jagriti”.
- A School Level Outreach Programme organized by the department on 01.02.2016 at Collegiate Girls School, Midnapore.
- A School Level Outreach Programme organized by the department on 28.09.2016 at VidyasagarBalikaBhavan, Midnapore.
- A Health Camp organized by the department collaboratively with Dept. of History & NSS on 06.01.2017 at Ghaighata.
- A Student Awareness Programme on ‘Scholarship’ was organized as a part of Students’ Week Celebration on 01.01.2022.
- An Online Student Seminar on ‘Sanskrit Literature’ was organized as a part of Students’ Week Celebration on 07.01.2022.
